No One "Perfect Diet"

Any claim of a common perfect diet for all people doesn't take into account the huge variety of geography that separate humans and always has. The tropics enjoy beautiful varieties of foods all year long, while the moderate climates have seasons where nothing is available, unless our ancestors knew how to store for the winter. Variety wasn't even a fantasy.

The more northern climes learned to dry, smoke, cook and preserve both animal and vegetable products so that starvation wouldn't descend during the cold dark foodless winters.

In the case of the Inuit Eskimo of the FAR north, they ate their seal meat and blubbers raw in general, which lent itself to their dietary needs, heat retention and the fact that this food source was available all year long.

With the varied climes, you also see varied needs. The people of the tropics had coconut oils to sooth their skin and keep long tanned skin soft and supple in their diet.

The people of the north had windblown dry skin and the animal fats in their food helped to keep cracks and rashes at bay.

The hair and teeth, bone structure and build, all lend to the climates of origin and the foods found there.
