Cranberries
Cranberry has long been considered the
premiere aid for urinary tract infections and bladder conditions. Cranberry strengthens the immune system while acting as an
excellent antibiotic because of its curative properties and as a
pro-biotic help for gastric and ulcer conditions.
As one of the best antioxidants
known today, cranberry should remain at the top of everyone’s daily
diet.
While lowering bad cholesterol,
cranberry raises good cholesterol, aiding the body in proper digestion
and usage.
As a fat
burning food, cranberry is ultimately valuable, as its
classification as a fruit means it lends further help to the digestive
system.
With low natural sugars,
cranberry doesn’t have the same push to the sugar levels as
other more sweet fruits. This
is positive news for diabetics. With
a small amount of natural or diet sweeteners, cranberry desserts can be
made with low sugar content allowing for the natural tart flavor of this
hardy fruit.
